Pixavi was founded in 1999 with the main goal of creating innovative video collaboration products. Since then, Pixavi has specialized in R&D of ATEX and Ex certified video conferencing solutions, smartphones, portable cameras and Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Pixavi provides complete video communication solutions for hazardous areas. Pixavi is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway. Pixavi became part of the Bartec Group in 2013.
